Conservation Framing Services Belfast

For valuable or delicate pieces, our conservation service ensures protection from environmental factors including light exposure, acid damage and humidity. Our use of acid-free materials and UV glass ensures your artwork will be preserved for years to come. This is one of the most popular framing services Belfast customers request. Add a splash of colour to your frame! We offer a range of premium Farrow & Ball paints, perfect for transforming our hardwood and plain-wood frames, creating a beautifully customised finish. Tray frames

Tray frames offer a sleek, modern approach to floating a canvas with a subtle gap between the frame and the image, all without the need for glass. We build them in white, black or painted finishes for deep gallery canvases, boards and even enamel signs — the artwork sits on a recessed back so the edge stays visible.

06 — Framing service

Canvas stretching

We offer a canvas stretching service using strainer bars with internal supports in a variety of depths — 19mm, 38mm and more. Bring your canvas into the workshop and we'll stretch it so it's ready to hang, or to go into a tray frame. Larger pieces are built on custom stretchers so the canvas stays taut and even across the whole surface.

Raised float & gap mounted framing

This technique creates an elevated, floating effect by adding a gap around your artwork; achievable with or without the use of a mount.

Jersey framing

Using our computerised mount cutter, we can craft unique, bespoke mounts designed specifically for your picture — including football, rugby and GAA shirts, badges and signatures. We frame signed shirts in deep box frames, build multi-aperture layouts with tickets and medals, and can glaze valuable pieces with UV or museum glass.

Object framing

Looking to display three-dimensional objects? Our 3-D box framing service is ideal for showcasing items like sports memorabilia, medals, collectibles, and more; with a professional touch. We build deep box frames with suede or fabric linings, mount vinyl, textiles and keepsakes, and can glaze the piece with museum glass when you need extra protection.

Box & float framing

The float frame creates a space around your artwork, giving it a sense of presence and highlighting its impact within the frame. We also build deeper box frames so oils, boards and multi-panel works can be floated on a mount — often in a water-gilded or painted moulding — and sit clear of the glass.
