How we frame a shirt

A bespoke mount, cut around your shirt

We start with how you want the shirt to sit — flat in a deep mount, or given more depth in a box frame so creases and sleeves aren't crushed against the glass.

Using our computerised mount cutter we cut a bespoke mount around the shirt, badge or signature so the piece looks intentional, not stuffed into a standard aperture.

For valuable or signed shirts, ask us about conservation-grade materials and UV glass so light and acid don't age the fabric faster than they need to. Medals, caps and match-day programmes can sit in the same frame or in a separate object box if you prefer.

Bring the shirt on a hanger if you can, and tell us which side should face out. We'll talk through mouldings (we have over 500 to choose from), mount colours and whether you want a tray or float look. Prices depend on size and materials; jersey framing starts at £100 and we give a free estimate before we start. Standard turnaround is typically 5 to 10 working days, with a faster option if you need it.

What happens

From hanger to wall in four steps

No surprises: you'll see the moulding, mount colour and depth options before we start work.

01

Bring the shirt in

Bring it on a hanger if you can, and tell us which side should face out. We will talk through mouldings, mount colours and whether you want a tray or float look.

02

We plan the mount

Using our computerised mount cutter we cut a bespoke mount around the shirt, badge or signature, so the piece looks intentional rather than stuffed into a standard aperture.

03

Choose the depth

Flat in a deep mount, or given more depth in a box frame so creases and sleeves aren't crushed against the glass.

04

Protect the fabric

For valuable or signed shirts, ask us about conservation-grade materials and UV glass so light and acid don't age the fabric faster than they need to.

A few kind words

What customers say

Wonderful experience so far, will update when pictures framed! EDIT — All framed photos and art back and cannot fault. I'm big into attention to detail and finish and there's nothing to complain about.
